HHH & Austin on Hogan/Hall/Nash Returns, Xpac, Saturn]
Submitted on January 23, 2002 at 2:34 PM
Perry Saturns infamous reputation of working excessively stiff with indy talent on Jakked/Metal tapings continues. He roughed up Larry Brannon at the Dec. 21 Raw taping in Miami, FL. When Brannon decided against selling Saturn's offensive, the WWF locker room was said to be behind him and said it was "the right political move".
With the liklihood of the Nash/Hall/Hogan returns in the near future, there hasn't been any mention of Xpac becoming involved although he is healthy and suitable to return to action any time.
Now that it looks as if we'll see Scott Hall, Kevin Nash, and possibly Hulk Hogan in the WWF very soon, there are no indications that either Triple H or Austin have any ill feelings toward the signing of the three according to the WrestlingObserver. HHH has a longstanding and positive relationship with Nash and Hall stemming back from their WWF days in the late '80s and early '90s. He was also in favor of wrestling Hulk Hogan at last year's WrestleMania. Austin has yet to voice his opinion publicly, but is said to be on good relations with the three.

- According to the Tokyo Sports newspaper, Tatsumi Fujinami has been fired as New Japan's president. They also reported that financial backer Tetsuo Baisho has filled Fujinami's vacancy.
- XWF has setup a ring along with several monitors at the NAPTE convention this week. The WWF are also present at the convention, but hadn't prepared their booth as of Monday. The XWF are attempting to secure a TV deal, hence the additional effort they've made.
- In some very positive news, it has recently come to light that Hayabusa is now able to move both his hands and legs on his own, following the horrific in-ring accident he suffered several months ago. This has been evaluated as a very promising development in Hayabusa's condition.
